It's huge, and falling at a slight angle-- just enough so when it gets close he kicks up and places his hands and feet against it for a split second before setting off a powerful explosion. It propels him backwards through the opening and blows the piece to bits, and he lands on his shoulder and rolls to decrease damage on the way down.
He pulls himself up to one knee, his breathing hard and a bruise on his shoulder from the impact with the ground. But they made it out, even if the room is.. completely ruined. It has to count for something, right?]
