But even he surprised himself, sometimes. And this argument with Izuku had been something that shocked both of them to their cores.
He didn't mean it. He didn't mean it when he lashed out, telling Izuku to get out the way he had. He wanted to pull him back inside and hold him close to his chest, apologize over and over for making him cry but something inside of him kept him standing still as his boyfriend left his house, not to return for weeks to come.
